Thanks!! Thats like my dream story (and sounds a lot like us!!) we have a DS and are expecting #2 (HB) in 5 weeks...my secret desire is for a "surprise" Unasissted birth!!!! My MW is 45 min away...maybe!!!

that is such an amazing story-- it is so great that you researched so much and trained your mind to not succumb to fear! reading this makes me so excited to have my first homebirth (using similar hypnobirthing methods) and it reassures me that there ultimately is nothing to be afraid of. thank you so much for sharing!!!! :

Congratulations! What a wonderful story. H loves that he caught ds2, I think it's one of the best memories of his life. I'm hoping to catch this one, though.

Now I wish even more that I could afford Hypnobabies or at least find the cd's somehow, since even the library doesn't have them.

I got them used off the old TP here for about $60. I've heard that if you call hypnobabies directly they sometimes have used copies to sell for around $80. I'd give you mine but I re-sold them myself soon after her birth to pay for more cloth diapers.

And thanks everyone for all the replies! I just totally love that I am still getting replies over a year later I still think about her birth almost every single day. Of course dd is a blessing but her birth was a blessing as well
