I didn't read through the whole thread.. but I like the idea of a swap each trimester. I also like the themed swaps..diapers, books, maybe clothing?

I'm interested, but finding the process really, really confusing!

I've participated in quite a few swaps now at MDC and I need more explanation on the process for this one. :

I've also noticed many DDCs with their swaps over on the MDC Swaps board. Do we need to move our swap there?

Ack...I will go and read the whole thing later today..

I wanted to add I think we should all agree to pitch in a few $$$ in someone gets stiffed. It happened in my old DDC and it sucks for that Mama.:

Is the swap board one that you have to have a certain number of posts to see? If so, how many posts? (I may need to get chatty to make over there by Sept 1st)

This is a great idea! I don't think I can make the 1st tri swap, as my husband is FREAKING about this new pregnancy and money. So we're on a tight budget for a bit (until he relaxes ). BUT - I think I could probably do one later on. I love the idea of a diaper swap, but I thought all the other ideas were great too.

I would love to swap. I will PM.

Also we did a birth bead swap with my last DDC and it was so awesome. I remember wearing my bracelet for DD's brith and it still makes me smile to look at it. I organized it last time, which was not too much of a problem other than people sending beads late. SO if we do it, we need to start early, so mamas arent popping out babies while we are still waiting on beads.
