DH might be here for birth!!!

He was suppose to get R&R in January and given all the pros and cons on both sides (him coming home in November vs. January) we were happy with his leave dates of Jan. Well, they decided to change it to November, so I'm going to assume this is God's will. We struggled with the decision and now it's been taken out of our hands. The bad news is that they won't give us the exact dates until Oct. 20, which makes it a bit hard to plan. My mom won't be coming in November now, since I'm going to be stingy with my time with dh. He'll be home for 18 days though, and since I'm due Nov. 13, I figure there's a pretty good chance he'll be there for the birth at one end of his leave or another. Anyway, I'm excited and praying that God will allow it to all work out so he is here just a few days before our little girl is born.

When he gets here, file for extention ok! hehehehe I am not sure how but my friend had a c-section while her hubby was here and they got an extra 6 days out of it. I am very happy for them, just as I shall be for you too! Funny how that powers that be set our lives in motion even when we think we know what is best for us.

I got news my hubby might be home before Christmas rather then Febuary and much better then the rumor of another extention! I am trying to be at peace with it rather then worried. Wow it is exciting though!

That would be awesome Kimmy if your husband was home before Christmas! I wonder how you file for an extension? I wonder if it's different if you have a c-section vs. natural.

I'm very excited at the possibility of dh being here. I think I'm going to get a doula through Operation Special Delivery (free since dh is deployed) and just tell them I won't use them if dh is here. That way I have someone there for me if he isn't here. And I'll probably hire a seperate doula for the girls, since they want to be there. Still thinking on that.
