My little dumpling is 9 1/2 weeks old, and will only go in a carrier if he is asleep. If I put him in it awake he will cry, squirm, push with his arms and make uncomfortable grunting noises. He would like to be carried however, perched up high on my shoulder, arms hanging over the other side. I don't mind carrying him like this but my arms get too tired. I have considered using duct tape to keep him up there ! Anyway, I feel frustrated because before he was born, I was going to be SO AP. Now, I am starting to dislike putting him in a carrier because he seems to dislike it so. He wants my arms holding him all the time ! So instead when he falls asleep at the boob I put him down somewhere instead of carrying him. He has colic and Dr. Sears reccommends at least 4 hours of baby wearing a day! My son doesnt nap that long and seems to hate it anyway. any advice anyone ?
