ovulation question..help!!

hello everyone,
my cycle tends to change month to month..my LMP was on 7/12 and the one before that was on 6/13 which is 29 days so im assuming my fertile days were probably from 7/24 - 7/29 if im correct...i had unprotected sex on the 28 what are my chances of gettin prego?...im not sure how long the fertile days really are im going by some sites i was on..most say my ovulation day was the 27th..that day i do remember gettin menstrual like cramps and wierd twinges on my left side so i think i could of been ovulating..but i didnt have sex til the next day...

the only way to know if that was your fertile period is to track your LH surges with the fertility monitors or urine sticks that measure LH. you should track your temps also and when you see a rise in your temps after a consistent set of temps, that is when you've ovulated.........

a rough guess would be to look at your average length of time between the start of each visit from AF and that will tell you your cycle length, 26, 28 or 29 days, etc. based on when your last AF was you should then be able to roughly figure when your next one will be based on length of cycle and then assume you are approx standard on your luteal phase with 14 days. This is the time from ovulation to the start of AF. So back track 14 days from projected AF and you will be ball park ovulation day. Also assume at that point that any BD'ing during the week leading up to ovulation day is 'prime time".
