Hey Aunt G! Thank you for checking up on me!! I pm'd you just now!

I'll just give a little update of today's adventures though...

Dh & I dtd this morning, then went to the mall and walked for 2 hours... took the kid to my moms, went to walmart for another hour & 1/2... came home, dtd AGAIN...and now I *think* we may have shook something up in there as I'm getting contractions fairly often (like every 5-8 minutes!--however, they're not lasting all that long each time--like maybe 30-40 seconds each) So, we'll see what morning brings... It feels like I have a stitch in my side right now, in between actual contractions... I don't know if baby is just moving into position or what, but it SUCKS. I hope I didn't like PULL MY UTERUS or something, with all the activity of the day...

Please do send some quick & easy labor vibes my way!!

Ok, so the mw assistant came out about 1am last night (she's closer--about 30min away, compared to my mw who's about 90 minutes away), listened to heart tones, which sounded awesome... did a cervical check (my 1st one since the pap at the ob my first visit!) & I was 2cm dialated, about 75% effaced... I had been having small uterine contractions, about 4-8 minutes apart that were followed by a radiating butt/leg pain after each one...after mw's assist. came out, she told me this was likely just early labor, to try to get some sleep and call if anything changed, etc...

So I go to sleep, and I know I had lots of painful contractions throughout the night but of course, I wasn't timing them, trying not to even pay attention to them, if I could help it... I slept sort of fitfully (just ctx + back/butt/leg pain + general night sweats + peeing issues, etc), but I guess some rest is better than none at this point...

MW had come on out this way last night and gotten a hotel nearby so she called around 7 this morning to see what was going on... came on over around 7:30 and did another check to see if there was any progress throughout the night... I was still 2cm, but completely effaced and baby had moved down overnight, into +1 station, so he's REALLY low... she also checked heart tones & my bp was 115/65 this morning, which was great to hear...

I have been having the ctx 5-6 min. apart since she left around 8:15 this morning, so I'm just chilling out trying to get the hang of this early labor thing... some of these ctx are wicked, I can't even fathom what transition is going to be like!

Anyway, ya'll wish me luck... looks like there's a baby coming soon...
