Only 2nd AF since baby, but it's been 36 days, test??

DS is 18 months and I just had my first period last month (fairly heavy too), but as I was just noticing it's been 36 days. I've never been much beyond 30 in the past. We haven't been actively trying and this would be quick for us to get pregnant. I don't feel pg, but should I test, or how much longer should I give it?

First of all let me say how jealous I am! 18 mos. and no AF!! Mine returned at only 8 weeks p/p despite nursing on demand and no paicifier! : ANYWAYS...I had REALLY wacky cycles with dd2 and had a couple months where I though OH NO!! I got AF back really early with dd1 but it was ALWAYS on time every 28 days, so this time it really threw me thru a loop. It took about 6 or 7 months for them to get back to normal, but one cycle was 40 days! That was the one time I was freaking out because I though how could I go from having a very regular cycle to this!

So I wouldn't test just yet. HTH.

ETA: Does your ds still nurse often? Although I have heard of women whose children have weaned and they still don't get AF for another 2 or 3 mos.!

I'm having some weirdness too. I had my first ppaf in July, Asheby was 7 months old. 59 DAYS LATER, I started another one, and its very light and not at all like my last one, or my usual periods. No cramps either, very unusual. I'm so confused.

Hi There,

Let's just say I never got my period back while exclusively BF Hannah and got pregnant when she was 2 months old. : Flash forward and I am now 32 week preggo. Hooray! With Adam, I was also exclusively BF and had gotten one period back. The next cycle went a little too long and around day 38 I tested and was pregnant with Hannah (Adam was 7 months old). So, I will keep my fingers crossed for you...as it is definately a possibility.
