All Rhogam now is thimerisol free?

Someone mentioned this to me today, and I'm not sure of their source or the truth behind it?

That is, all producers that have ways to get it into the US? I'm assuming its these 3 -
Ortho Clinical Diagnostics (RhoGAM)
Bayer Corporation (BayRho)
Cangene Corporation (win rho) - Canadian??

Anyone have links to back this up (or disprove it?)

Ortho stopped putting mercury in RhoGAM in 2001, Bayer stopped putting mercury in BayRho in 1996, and WinRho's never had mercury. I believe Ortho's MICRhoGAM, Talecris' HyperRho, and CSL Behring's Rhophlac also have always been mercury-free. Whatever the case they certainly don't have mercury now.

You can go to your library or local pharmacist to look up any particular drug or biological in the most recent edition of The Physician's Desk Reference. As you never know how old any vaccine or biological's been sitting on the shelf, you should always review the package insert before taking any biological.
