The Official Weird Craving Thread ;) - Page 2

My husband would love that notion... Pandaway?

I'm eating a lot of protein. I haven't "craved" anything weird yet, though before I was truly pregnant, I got a hint in the form of really, REALLY wanting pate. I got some at Trader Joe's, but even theirs has nasty preservatives in it so after that was gone I tried making my own. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't as good, either. Oh well.

OK. subway is way too complex for me now, let alone the panda/subway merger. i can only deal with one thing at once.

i second the eggos. plain. and tater tots. also plain.

DH is completely baffled by our freezer these days.

Hot Chocolate.. why so weird?? perhaps because it was 104 today, lol.

Also I have craved Subway since Saturday, ours was closed for remodeling and they opened today and I went at lunch, lol

Darn you! Now I'm craving that, and the closest Panda is 45 minutes away.

Last night I made homemade potato soup (potatoes, carrots, onion, garlic, and chicken broth) and pureed it so it was super creamy and then added finely chopped kale (my most fav vegetable). Then I added lots of seasalt and a few drops of hot sauce(only to my bowl). YUM!

And there is lots of leftovers for lunch I will probably add some chicken sausage chunks to it for protein. Finally something sounds good!!!

RE: Panda Express

It isn’t very authentic. I mean, it is totally a fast food chain, so if anything, it is pretty consistent.
Their orange chicken is pretty popular. I’ve had better and I’ve had worse.
I eat at Panda usually when I don’t know the local Chinese joints very well and when I’m on the run. I have yet to get sick from any of their establishments.
So if you have one, try it. You'll probably like it.
IF you like mushrooms... try the mushroom chicken. SO...GOOD.

lol I did. I lived off of malt-o-meal's version of fruity pebbles. I ate 3 bowls of it a day.

In our defense I read that carbs are what develop the baby's brain lol

Well, like ORLY said it's fast food and not really authentic, but it's still yummy. Every time I go, I get the two entree plate with orange chicken and mandarin chicken.

We went there for a late lunch and I got the Mongolian chicken. It was pretty good. But I like the place at the mall better.

Our closest Panda is in a mall. When the weather is too bad to play outside much, I take DD to the children's play area at the mall and get an order from Panda.
