I'm a frequent lurker who just had to post about my very positive experience last night at Angels Stadium in Anaheim, CA. My husband and I live in LA and are HUGE Red Sox fans. The Sox came to Anaheim this week and we just had to go to a game, which started at 7. We had to leave LA around 3:30, and we wouldn't be returning until 11pm. Since I'm still nursing our little one, and he would be staying at home with our nanny, my first question was, "Where the ??? am I going to pump?" I have a converter to use in the car, but we were driving down with my brother-in-law and another male friend, so that was out of the question. So...
I called the Stadium's main line and spoke to a lovely woman, who told me that there was a section for nursing moms in the park, and I was welcome to use my pump there. I went through security with no problems (the guard even told me that I wasn't the first pumping mama he'd seen) and went to the First Aid area, where there was a SPOTLESS room curtained off, and an equally spotless bathroom if I wanted more privacy. I plugged in, pumped away, and still made it in time for the first pitch. It was so great!
Just wanted to share, in case anyone's thinking of taking in a game sans nurslings this summer...
