So here's what's been happening...my lmp was on 7/12...I think I ovulated or was about too on 7/27 because of some cramping and twinging I was having on my left side..in a way I don't think I ovulated that day or before that because if supposedly everyone ovulates 14 days before their next period no matter the length of their cycle then I would of gotten af already or will be getting it tomorrow. Although my cycle isn't regular I still know how it works..and since I got it the 12th last month I really am not expecting until the 12th or later..so since the 28th dh and I have been dtd...we've done it about every other day since the 28th...now today I feel what could be af so I run to the bathroom to check and see nothing so I wiped and it was just clear non ew like cm..could it be that I'm ovulating now instead of when I thought I did because of the menstrual like cramps nd twinging??...or can it mean something else or nothing at all??? HELP!!!

well...let's see.
1. a normal luteal phase (the time between ovulation and AF) can vary between women. some have as short as 10 days, some as long as 16.
2. the time of ovulation can be affected by a lot of things. it is not uncommon for your O date to be pushed back due to stress, illness, all sorts of things.
3. if you expect AF today or tomorrow, you can take a pg test. however, if you're unsure of your O date, it's possible that it's too early.
4. it's not uncommon to have fertile-looking CM after O. unless you are closely watching your CM and monitoring your temp throughout your cycle, it's almost impossible to know for sure whether your CM is a sign of fertility or not.
5. if you've been BDing a lot lately, it's possible the CM you're seeing is really semen.
your recent posts suggest that you are anxious to really know what's going on with your cycle. i cannot suggest strongly enough that you read taking charge of your fertility and invest in charting your cycles. it will give you great peace of mind.
i hope that helps!!
