Whapio is a travelling wise woman and birth educator...why don't you contact her if it interest you and you can maybe host her in your community!

This is great, but I don't have experience hosting this kind of events...
She's from NC, I live in PA...
Do I have to pay for accomodation and all that? I'm trying to understand.
But I'm liking it a lot!

Alldoulas.com has a resource list with many of the Doula training programs, including distance programs. Some programs do classes around the country, others you might have to travel to attend.
There are many options and it depends on what you are looking for.

I haven't heard the best of things about La Matrona. I was planning on attending until I talked to a few women who have gone there/are going there now and one of the mods from Midwifery Today.
