Traumeel during pregnancy?

I'm a chiropractor, and I use the traumeel cream sometimes on clients. I am looking for information both on use on pregnant clients, as well as use since I am pregnant currently. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I do know that pregnant women were excluded from a test on the cream's effectiveness. I'm just trying to find out about the safety of use during pregnancy.

traumeel is homeopathic, correct? I feel that homeopathy is totally safe during pregnancy.

I love Traumeel. I don't attend a birth without it, and it's great for all sorts of aches and pains during pregnancy.

I keep a bottle of the liquid in my purse at all times, my son carries a bottle in his gear bag when he goes to football practice and games. I snuck drops of Traumeel under my step-sons tongue when he was in the hospital after being hit by a car (serious head injury, no one thought he'd survive the night).

I think everyone should have a bottle of Traumeel as part of their first aid kit. It's good stuff.

I have a book with all the ingrediants of homeopathic preparations - and it looks to me that it is safe to use. I use it myself and have recommended it to pregnant women with ankle sprains, etc.

I just looked up the package inserts for Traumeel. As a homeopath I'd consider it safe and helpful to take orally *but* I'd only apply it topically to unbroken skin. At 3X the Arnica is concentrated enough to irritate broken skin.

So far as the prescription Traumeel goes, I'd *never* inject it (it's against the foundations of classical homeopathy), let alone with Arnica 2X. It would work as effectively orally or applied to unbroken skin. Injecting it carries risk with no added benefit.

This is very timely! My best friend just started taking it at 34 weeks for pubic pain. It is helping immensely! I had never heard of it before. Her CNM recommended it. Good to hear you all say it's effect and safe too!
