Not in your DDC but I've been followin your pg. Congratulations on a wonderful labor and birth and such healthy babies. I agree with pp-what a beautiful and giving soul you are to bless another family with these little lives. May your own joy abound and may you be blessed also!!!

Bumping up with pictures now! And an update

Babies and I both went home 46 hours after birth. The babies were ready to go at 24, but I needed to stay for a few more blood counts--which all were surprisingly good. YAY! I go in for more bloodwork in 2 weeks and hopefully things will be rising nicely.

I feel amazing. Body wise, I feel better than even after my first singleton birth when I went and played in a softball game 5 days postpartum (crazy 21 yo mommy LOL). But I definitely COULD if I wanted to!

Yawning...baby yawns are TOO cute.

All 5 of the babies I've birthed! The big boys are mine and the other three are my surro-bubs.

OMG! Those babies are gorgeous! and what a lot of hair!! And you look fantastic!

OT: I'd be interested someday to hear your surrogate story if you're willing to share. I've tossed the idea around for my brother and SIL but I'm not sure I'd be able to do it.

Congratulations on the birth of your two precious miracles!! Looking at these pictures brings tears to my eyes....it seems like only yesterday that I was holding my two newborns. Now they are 4 1/2 and getting ready to start school. :

I too had over 14 lbs. of baby in me!! I had my girls at 38w3d. Awesome job cooking those babies, Mama!!!!!!

Thanks all I think they are the cutest as well!!

Kelly, you're welcome to PM or e-mail me and ask any questions. Eventually I'll get something written up too I've just had the **BEST** experience possible as a surrogate. It's been a really life-altering, amazing experience for my entire family as well as extended family and friends.
