Feet Swelling

My feet usually swell a little by the end of the day and then are fine in the morning. Last weekend we went to the beach and they have stayed swollen ever since. I keep getting nervous cause everyone makes a comment OMG look at your feet their swollen. (like I don't know). My BP is fine and everything so I don't think I need to worry. I guess everything annoys me and people constantly making comments makes me grouchy. Anyone else swollen?

Totally swollen here. My feet look awful (hands aren't looking too cute either). I gained 4 lbs last week and 4lbs this week. Midwife says it is ALL fluid. My BP is still normal, no protein in urine, no headaches. So, we are taking it day by day. Possible things that might relieve your discomfort...

Swimming
Drinking tons and tons of water (more than you think you need...WAY more)
Eating watermelon and cucumbers
Drinking Cornsilk tea (my midwife just recommended this to me yesterday, I haven't tried it yet)
Keep legs elevated as much as possible. Rotate ankles, flex feet frequently.
Massage feet with chilled peppermint lotion

Thanks for the info! Now to get dh to snap out of it (seems like he's in a trans lately) and give me a foot massage!!

i had little swelling until about 2 weeks ago, and then suddenly it hit and my feet have been swollen every day since. my bp is fine, so i'm not worried. i'm having trouble drinking enough water, need to work on that. the only way i'd get to sit around with my feet up is if i let my 23mo ds watch tv, which i feel guilty about doing. in the last month or so he has suddenly become enamored with tv, and i hear endless requests to watch 'ink' (monsters inc) and 'man on the nene' (which refers to the man with the yellow hat in curious george). as well as endless talking about buzz and woody from toy story, which i don't have but my mom lets him watch every time he's at her house. she never did that with her own kids, grandmas are just suckers i guess.

third pregnancy... never had swelling before. I've had some for the past three days. I think it's from sitting in my chair at work for hours straight. Mostly my left foot. It's not hideous but it does bother me. Yuck.

yup....I've been swelled on and off for the past 3 months...They look like hobbit feet to me....and my DH laughs when I say so...He massages them and has sweetly named them now - Gigantor and Humungo. ha...jerk

I have been told by the MW that the swelling is correlated with not enough water and too much sodium. Also trying to keep them up whenever possible.
