this has been so hard for me but at the same time easier than trying to get her in another routine. i love bfing my dd but its getting so hard and uncomfortable and im pretty sure that i have zero supply left. she now drinks whole milk from a bottle. she will nurse for a few seconds then drink from the bottle then back to the boob. the only way she will fall asleep for me is if i nurse her to sleep, especially at night. i have to give her a bottle at about 3 in the morning to help her get back to sleep when ever she wakes up during the night she will usually just nurse for a min or so and go right back to sleep. having to wake up so much during the night is soo hard on me. i wish there was a way to just get her to sleep through the whole night or at least sleep in her crib. dh has been giving me such a hard time about her not sleeping in her own crib. because i nurse her to sleep i have to lay her down in the crib but laying her down in the crib while she is sleeping is much easier said than done. for one the crib matress is as low as it will go and the rail is all the way up and for some reason i can't seem to bring it back up once i am able to make it go down. so putting her in the crib for me is more like droping her. he wants to be able to just put her in the crib and have her fall asleep on her own. nice and quietly. how the hell do you get to that point? have i really created a monster by co sleeping and always nursing her to sleep? with my son on the way so soon i dont know what to do. i think i will just keep co sleeping with dd and have ds sleep in the crib or bassenet. still i'd hate to miss out on the co sleeping with him.
do u all nurse ur los to sleep?

I wonder if her belly hurts. Cows milk was harsh on my littles and they got it through breast milk!

I nursed ds till he was 2 1/2 to sleep and it sucked to eventually teach him how to sleep. I would however, in heinsight, just keep doing it till he was done! (Unless he got to like 4, then I might think about weaning.)

DD wouldnt nurse to sleep, and I also tried to teach her to sleep a little more.

I am a big advocate of co-sleeping. :-) Everyones happy. (Usually)
