flutters vs. movement

Okay I am just turning 15 weeks and this is really flipping me out. I feel movement not flutters. Could this be all in my imagination? Talked to my bf who has had 3 children and she says no way, but then talked to my little sis who has had 2 children and she says yes way. She said it was about the same time that she felt Justice moving around. I remember with my last one that I did feel movement in the 4th month but I think it may have been a little farther than 15 weeks. It also shocks be because around 11 or 12 weeks I felt flutters and then it totally stopped so I was kind of thinking to myself ok, that wasn't flutters it was gas. But the past few nights I have been woken up from my sleep by what seems to be movement. I always sleep on my stomach and in the middle of the night I wake up feeling something way stronger than flutters.

Is it even possible it is my baby? I am so confused. The OB says since I have already had children then I am more likely to feel the baby starting around 15 weeks but it just seems way too early.

Anyone else feeling this or am I all by my lonesome?

Do you only feel the movement when you're laying on your stomach? If so, it could just be you're able to feel the babe easier because of the pressure from the mattress pushing from the outside of your belly and your little moving on the inside.

I think its totally possible to feel actual movement this early.

I started feeling movement with my first at 16 weeks. It was definitely more than flutters. If you feel it you feel it! Who cares what anyone else says!

I'm 13 weeks and was feeling alot of flutters, but the past two days I haven't felt much. I was getting worried, but reading that you experienced the same thing makes me feel better.

Whoooo hoooooo!!!!!!!!

It is movement! I have felt it all day long today. It kind of is that feeling you get when ur little baby is sliding up or down one side of your uterus. It isn't like kicks or punches but I can just feel him/her moving around in there. It is only in on one side. The right side to be exact.

I am so excited!!!! I think I am going to lay down now and see if I can feel it on the outside as well. I went through some posts from the January group of ladies and some of them are talking about how it feels and when they felt it. It seems others are going through it too that are only a week or two ahead of me and they say they have felt it for a while.

I am so excited I can barely contain myself.

That is really exciting!! I am still not sure I am feeling movements or if it is just gassy as I have still been so bloated by the time I lay down at night. Today I thought I felt more of a little kick, but who knows! I am 15 weeks and a few days now...

I'm totally feeling movement - the movement you described and also little "flips". When the mw was checking baby's heartbeat (at 13w4d) I felt movement that was confirmed by the heartbeat "disappearing" and the mw finding it further to the left where I directed her.
