I was just looking at this thread today and thinking the same thing. I did get a lot of it done but have SO much more to go.
Updated mine. I am SO not ready.
1. Buy a King Sized Mattress and Box Spring off Craigslist. Buy sheets for it. Set up current mattress in guest room/office. Clean guest room/office. Move Futon into family room. Clean the family room so that it's ready for birth. We have not even begun to pre-plan or think about starting this task.

2. DONE!

3. Figure out where we're going to put the new baby's dipes and clothes, buy something to store them in. Last time we'd picked something out, now I'm changing my mind. I need to go look for a thrift-store dresser this weekend, if there's time.

4. Prep and wash 3 dozen Preemie prefolds, buy newborn and a few small covers. Wash infant dipes too, just in case. I decided that since I already had the stuff, I'd just make the stupid newborn covers. I've sewn 7/14, and the other 7 are cut out but are going to be fleece-lined and I need to cut the fleece.

5. Buy a new sewing machine. Make baby blankets, and post-partum pads and finish the red china silk mei tai. These are the next projects after I finish with the diapers.

6. Buy a new changing table pad because ours is a disgrace. Get some more covers too.

7. Buy a crib set and some more crib sheets. We got DS a jungle crib set that he LOVES and which we'll totally pass on to this baby when he's old enough for the crib. So yay, DONE!

8. Buy a KKAFP to fit, and a light toddler stroller. I think we'll stick with the stroller we have until I find something I really like that's either used or on sale. I'm a cheapskate about strollers.

9. Pre-register at backup hospital. Check Power of Attorney and living will forms, and copy/rewrite emergency transfer birth plans.

10. Keep on top of insurance SNAFU. Make sure that Pediatrician-of-God will accept new baby as a patient. Presuming our state doesn't have to shut down Medicaid because of the President and his moronic threat to veto SCHIP, we're good! DONE!

11. Find someone in town who does Mehndi, make an appointment and save up the money to pay for it. Also find a photographer to take belly pics. No one in our town does Mendhi, so we're ordering supplies and a design template off the internet and DH is going to draw on my belly. I'm super excited!

12. Order birth pool and birth kit, as well as extra submersible pump. next paycheck!

13. Cook some meals for post-partum after the baby worshippers leave. Stock up on meat and Trader Joes insta-food.

14. Find the sheets and waterproof cover and pads for the bassinette-thing, wash them and get it set up in the bedroom.

15. Remember to buy one of those carseat cover things for when it's -80 outside. I think I'm going to try making one of these...

16. Fetch rocking chair from Mom's house.

i have bought NOTHING for dd2, so maybe figure out what I need....some of which include: swaddle blankets, cloth diapers sz small, sleep sack.

all i can really think about is making sure that the store is ready for christmas shopping, that the girls have everything they need to run it while im out. i have a gigantic to do list revolving around that one topic, i just have to find it lol.

It's really a pity you don't live closer to us, because "Buy Piano" is on the top of my non-baby To Do list.

This weekend, we're going to devote all of Sunday to stocking up on baby supplies -- we got the pool, and our midwife's kit, but we still need miscellaneous bits like peroxide and KY and shower curtains, plus whatever herbs/tinctures I'm going to want pre-birth. I'm committing to getting all that settled, AND putting up the baby's dresser AND doing all the misc. paperwork before Monday.

So help keep me honest and accountable if I come back and say I didn't finish.
I updated. There is sooo much I still need to get done. I got most of my birth stuff ordered and received. It seems like I'm ready, but still so much to do!
I *HAD* my mental list just down to buying:
--pp pads
--peribottle
--chlorhexidine gluconate (hibiclens solution)
--stock up on toilet paper
--6-8 new towels
--possibly more cloth dipes and wraps, but not totally necessary right now

and then try and get our local housing authority to put in a shower in our ooolllllld bathroom, because hefting myself in and out of our tiny bathtub is getting more and more difficult, mostly because of my SPD (or PSD).

HOWEVER--today we found out from afore mentioned housing authority that we may be moving! Holy Buckets! We will find out more tomorrow afternoon and possibly monday. I am *just* to the point where nesting has slowed and things seem to be just right. *whine* I don't wanna move right now, especially since carring more than 2 grocery bags makes my pubic bone SCREAM at me. Plus I have had enough of moving whilst pregnant, as I moved a whopping 4 times when I was pregnant with Zach, and once when I was pregnant with Lily.
Hopefully the housing authority just decides to put in the shower for us and then we can move later.

i've done the diapers, gotten the baby head down, attacked some of my closets, and gotten the birth pool. i still need to deal with #1, my birth kit & the food situ.

there's also some house stuff that we want to do, so we'll have to see how far along we get there.

but - most excitingly - i've found a reasonably priced housecleaner for the pp period!!! this is the most extravagant thing to me, i cannot wait for some help cleaning this place.
