Elliott James was born August 11, 2007 at 10:57am. 8lbs, 15oz and 21.5 inches long. He's perfect! My hospital induction went surprisingly well and overall, I'm satisfied with how the birth went and I'm pretty sure it went so well because of a nurse I had who made sure everything went according to my birth plan, although I did change it up in the middle of labor.

This baby loves to nurse! But we are having some latch issues because my nipples are too big for his tiny mouth!

Good job mama! He is perfect. Keep working on the latch, try making a sandwhich of your nipple when you offer, you kind of squish it and try to get a little more in. He might just be a bit sleepy from the birth and will open more with practice.

My baby's mouth is *tiny* and I have to do this for her. She also doesn't really want to open all the way. LOL

Congratulations, I am so glad everything went well. He is beautiful, and our babies share a birthday!!

Thanks, everyone! I think nursing is starting to get a little bit better. My nipples are really sore though.
