Thank you, Thank you, Thank you to whoever suggested the Baby Back-Tie carrier. I just got mine today and I LOVE IT!
I just put ds in it briefly to try it out and it is absolutely the most comfortable back carrier I have ever tried! It's wonderful and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a back carrier for your older baby!

Hi Lisa~ can I ask a qu about that carrier? on the website it seems that most people criss-cross the straps in front, but a couple tied them more like a backpack (i.e. straps down the sides of their chest). if you have tried both these ties--do you find the "backpack" tie comfortable?

I'm really interested in this carrier but am not crazy about the criss-cross between the boobs. :

Nan- So far I have only tried the criss-cross way so far. It is EXTREMELY comfortable. I am amazed how light he feels in it (he's about 22 lbs. right now).

Deborah- THank you!

Would this back tie work for your DH? I need something we both can use.

Nan,

I use the baby back-tie carrier with the straps done like a backpack instead of criss-crossed and for me it is the most comfortable that way (I can't stand things crossed on my front at all). I really really like it!

Is it easy to put babe in yourself? I have an Ultimate Baby Wrap, which I LOVE for front carrying. It can be used with baby on back, but someone else has to put her in.

I am looking for a great back carrier. This looks great! Thanks for posting.

Just wanted to ask you a couple questions. How easy is it to get on and off with a babe? How would you say the size runs? Can your DH wear it too? Are you REALLY comfortable that baby is supported and safe?

Lisa~ I am interested in this carrier, but what's holding me back is that there is no waist strap. What I like about the Ergo and Packababy (at least judging from pics) is that weight is distributed to the hips. Are you able to carry your baby for a while without soreness in yr shoulders?
