I could, but I'd rather birth at home.

The Farm is definitely an awesome back-up plan!

I'm planning a homebirth this time too. But after my boyfriend and I heard Ina May speak at the LLL conference in Chicago last month, we were so impressed and wished we lived closer!!

Irving, TX...near Dallas. Last few days it got over 100 degrees...first time this year! So I think it WAS a pretty nice summer. Now it is just back to normal.

I am a transplanted Yankee from Upstate NY. I just CAN'T call myself a Texan even though I have been here 10+ years!

I live in Asheville, NC in the blue ridge mountains! Very hip and progressive city that I love! I think the high was in the lower 90's, but I was working indoors most of the day getting ready for the school year (I'm a SPED teacher in middle school).

Bellejar - I LOVE Harpers Ferry! Such a beautiful, historic town. And the scenery...amazing!! Such a small world.

healthnutmama - It was a great session! It's what convinced my boyfriend that a homebirth was the way to go. He's very into natural birth but was afraid to take that last step to homebirth. We actually looked into going to The Farm to birth but the drive is just way too long.
