This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

I went through this with my second child while pregnant with #3. When my supply started dropping, she treated it like she was going through a growth spurt and started nursing more to try and build the supply back up. Once it dried up completely, she cut back a LOT. She never gave it up entirely, but she cut it down to about 2-3 10 second nursing sessions per day. Once my son was born she went on a bit of a binge. LOL! I guess she was just excited that the milk was back. She nursed whenever my son nursed, and would have even nursed more if I would have let her.
I've noticed my son beginning to show signs that my supply is dropping, but instead of nursing more, he often just brings a sippy cup and will switch back and forth -- nurse for comfort and drink from the sippy cup when he's thirsty.

It's not uncommon for a nursling to increase nursing frequency as the milk supply drops. It's the natural way to stimulate and increase the supply.
You may want to try offering other things to drink often throughout the day and try a sippy cup of water or milk (cow, soy, almond, etc.) to accompany nursing. Some moms who have very passionate nurslings use supplemental nursing systems (with another form of milk) so that their child can continue to nurse but also be satisfied with the amount they're getting when they nurse.
