i've had at least 6 PPAFs now, and instead of seeming to get better, they get worse and worse. the last three cycles have only lasted 24.5 days apiece, with a LP of 7.5-8.5 days. i'm cd2 today and i have a splitting headache, as well as feeling nauseated, exausted, shaky, dizzy, faint, oh--and hungry too. : i feel like i can barely cope with dd's (18mos) wants and needs when my body is this whacked out, let alone actually be a good parent.

i never had af troubles before i had dd. i was regular and my periods were nice and short (3 days max), now it's normal for me to be on cd5 and still have bleeding on and off (not brown spotting, still red blood). also, i've been having crippling mood swings (the kind that keep you from even running to the grocery store) for about 3-4 days before af and the whole time af is here too.

i'm a lacto-ovo-vegetarian. i eat a really balanced diet. i've cut way back on soy products, for fear of throwing my hormonal balance off even worse. i exercise regularly, and am at an optimal body weight. i take a b-complex vitamin and vitex every day, and while af is here i take floradix iron and herb tabs instead of the b-complex. i have no other health issues to speak of aside from some minor seasonal allergies. wtf is going on with my body? is this normal? is it something that will just right itself? i'm going to the doctor tomorrow to get some bloodwork done, but i'm just curious if others have experienced the same trobles, and what they did about it. thanks!
