nak here

Is phytolacca decandra (sp?) ok to use? I thought I read in Mothering that phytolacca by itself was good but all the store had was the phytolacca decandra. I am taking it. Is it as effective or even ok to do?

Thanks!

I've used it for mastitis and it really helped! I would take a dose at the first sign of trouble (ache, pain, fever, red streaks, etc) - the earlier the better!

I didn't know there was more than one kind of homeopathic phytolacca. You might try posting in the general health forum -lots of mamas there use homeos and might have more info for you.

Good luck to you

They're the same thing. Take TONS of vitamin C as well. It's amazing how well that works.

They're the same thing. Take it AS SOON AS you start to feel a plugged duct or mastitis.
