What's your system?

OK- when do you currently use what diapers? Here's what I do for example:

Daytime (including going out) -Prefolds (some premium, some regular) and snappi

EXCEPT when ds is wild before his nap I use fitteds because the #!@# snappi snagged me. If he gets too wild I get a fitted.

Covers: Wool covers (LTK or ecolovables) or no covers, except at the beach we use ME AF covers.

Nighttime: Firefly sleep tights with aristocrats. If I run out of those I stuff a ME OS with lots of doublers.

I give this system a 10- it is working great for us.

daytime & going out - a variety of all in ones - mostly kushies. some bumkins and some wahm.
nighttime - happy heinys or fuzzi bunz with 2 joey bunz inserts

edited to add my kids ages - 3 and a half year old twins - one is potty trained during the day but not at night, and a 2 year old.

"System"? What is this system you talk of? J/k, my "system" is mainly AIOs and Happy Heinys, then when I run out of those I'll use my prefolds (infant and regular) with my Fuzbomb or Bumpy Day covers.
At night I mainly use my HH, but if I've used them all up during the day I'll stick a prefold and hemp doubler in a cover. DD isn't a heavy wetter at night.
I rate my system a 10! Lots of variety, and reliable dipes.

LOL on the "system." I couldn't think of any other word to describe it. I forgot to ask how old everyone's dc is. Mine is 17 months.

I also have 2 apronstrings which are the only "other" diapers in my current stash

my system

I take my 23 month old to the diaper area, and tell him to pick his diaper. He does, I put it on. We have fitteds ( LD, Kissaluvs, Pumkies, a couple cuddlebuns) and prefolds (infant and premium). No cover.

I get such a kick out of watching him pick.

Going out, if Dh or I are going to do the changing, Little Lambs. If others are changing, some funky babies that I refuse to use but they are easy to figure out :.

Nightime Bumkins AIO with a prefold and fleece liner.

Daytime Fitteds (mostly homeade) or prefolds either naked or in a cover.
Covers for day time usually a me af or freshies pul wrap or nikkys for my pfs.
Nighttime my thicker fitteds and a wool cover.
I have learned to keep my system more basic.

DS has to wear a fuzzibunz with 2 joey's & a Prefold to bed though..

I go on kicks once in awhile of using all prefolds and covers, but my tried and true, most of the time, Daddy understands how to use them diapers are Fuzzibunz stuffed with Joeys. Both changing stations are always tsocked with those, ready to go, as are all the diaper bags.

I love, love, love them, and I can always depend on them. A 10, for my 14 month old.

My current kick/deviation from the norm are hemp fitteds. Gotta love the Liz's Cloth. Seriously. I've never done much in the way of fitteds befoe, but the Liz dipes rock for my punkin...

I have all fitteds, mostly hemp, from lots of different WAHMs (and some ME OS). So, if we're going to the grocery store or running errands, I put a thick diaper like a Luke's Drawers or something on and no cover. I have a Darling Diaper with a velour outer and it's almost like an AIO, the outside stays so dry. If we're going to a restaurant or someplace where I feel pants may be required, I put a trimmer diaper on him like a Growing Greens and a Bummi wrap or a ME AF. At home he wears any old diaper, no cover. I am waiting for my first wool covers to arrive so I can hopefully ditch the PUL, I don't like it.

For daytime--I use mainly prefolds with a snappi in Bummis Whisper Pants. Sometimes fitted (either Kissaluvs or Crickette's)

For nighttime--Premium CPF with Apron String Baby THings lay in Soaker in a ME Airflow.

We use fitteds on my DD. My current favorites are Cloud 9 Softies, but I only have about 10 of those. Generally, no cover around the house and a Featherlite or Ivy Rose $10 cover when going out. We use the same fitteds with a good doubler under a wool cover at night. The system works well for us but we could use a few more dipes to replace the ones recently outgrown.

With my potty training (verrry slooowly) dd I use ME OS dipes on her with no covers at home. When out I put a SnapDragon cover on or use one of the few AIO's we have. At night we currently use sposies because she sleeps better and I need my sleep right now. (She's allergic to fleece or else I'd use that at night).

My ds is almost 3, one more month.
Daytime: toddler ubcpf's with BSIWW's or various wool covers. If going out or want to show diaper off...aio's or HH with hemp prefold.
Night : Sandy's with ME AF or Staccinator or Heavenly Hineys.
He is quite soaked in the am, but the outside of the cover is dry, so am I and the bed.
Want to add...I forgot to include my Liz's cloth, I often use them for outings also.

We use hemp fitteds 100% of the time, with different covers. Mostly ds is coverless at home, sometimes just naked.

Aristocrats- ds is almost too big but it works well at night, since ds doesn't like wearing clothes while sleeping i feel like this kinda makes up for it!

Biobottoms- i love my machine washable cover! We use this at night mostly.

Side Snapping Wool Colors- for daytime and the occasional nighttime if we forget to change it out. They don't leak, we just like to save them for day.

Bumpy- i got 2 of these from the Tp, and i love them! I think they're on their 3rd or 4th baby!

Hunny Buns Custom Covers- This is really thin so we just use it as a backup cover when we go out.

I just got a firefly diaper and it beautiful! It is a little big on ds but its a large. so he'll fit well in it soon enough.
