Help! I'm having severe abdominal pain - not contractions

I'm having sharp stabbing pains localized in one spot on my belly. It feels like muscles tearing. I have to vocalize through them.

What the heck is going on? I'm sort of having contractions too...

OK, so it is with contractions. The worst pain is like over the baby's leg jutting out?

If you adjust your abdomen does it help? Can you try lying on your side to see if it shifts the baby?

OK, so it seems to have stopped. Yeah, I laid down and shifted the baby. Man, that felt horrible! I thought my uterus was rupturing. I think maybe it was spasaming over the bony parts of the baby and for some reason couldn't relax. It was even tender to the touch.

I am still having some pretty good contractions though. I hope this is it.

How scary that you were hurting so much. Maybe the babe was settling into the birthing position?!

Yeah, it was scary, I'm glad it stopped! The pain was just a two inch diameter spot on my upper right belly where a foot or something was jutting out. It hurt enough to make me sweat and shake and moan. And when I pressed over the spot, it was like mind-blowing, muscle-tearing pain. I was stranded in bed for about 20 minutes unable to move an inch until the baby moved. It so felt like my uterus was rupturing or something, but I guess it's fine now...

I think I had this too. Hurt bad - I thought at the time maybe it was muscle cramp in my uterus. Felt kind of like it does in my legs and tender sore afterwards like the leg stuff too.

Anyone else have this
