I hate feeling uncomfortable in my clothes---and the nursing bras are killing me. Bravado gives me a uniboob--so don't go there. I need a decent bra with underwire ( have to) and coverage that'll fit my 34-36 DD's. I have spent a fortune and still can't find the right one..........HELP

two of my favorite websites for nursing bras are bella materna and breakout bras. bella materna's ruched clip bra was my personal favorite, but it's wire free, so it's not quite what you're looking for. but between these two websites, you're bound to find something that works!

Not underwire, but I love my Goddess bras and they still have great support. When ds was a newborn and I got mine I was up in the I/J range and got some great sizing help from the owner of www.birthandbaby.com Since then I've gone down to an H cup and also have a Fancee Free bra that I like ok, it does have an underwire, but still doesn't feel as supportive as the Goddess ones do.

I was in the same boat and looked online, but didn't want to spend the money. On a whim, I looked at Wal-mart, and on an endcap where nursing bras in my size! I am a DDD, so I was very excited. They are very comfortable, don't have underwire, but they support well and I am pleased with the results.

I spent literally hundreds of dollars on bras to find one that I loved. Turns out my two favorites are the target bras and playtex nursers. Both under $20!

I recommend Anita. They have models with and without underwire and sizes all the way to H. I buy them at figleaves.com.
Medela has also recently redone their bras under the name Beautiful beginnings. They're pretty nice as well.

Another mom at an LLL meeting told me that LLL has bras on their website now. I was surprised to see that they had several in my size - 34F - and they were only $24. I got one and it fits GREAT and I have TWO boobs again!! No more bravado uniboob!!!

I didn't like the bravado bra either. The best bra I got was from WalMart. Seriously.

I second the Bella Materna bras. Their customer service is great for helping you find the right size. I was a 36EF...

In the years I've been nursing, I tried all the bravados, target's bras, japanese weekend, babystyle, even one from canada (can't remember the name...) and the bella materna bras are my favorites.

Here's what I like about them:

- they provide support for large sizes with or without underwires
- they come clip-less - which is a huge factor for me - I never liked fumbling for a clip to start, or when finished...
- they're made from italian fabric with 4-way stretch, so they grow (or shrink) with you
- they're comfy and soft - and actually kind of sexy!

I have 3 bras and 2 cami's, and they're all equally consistent in size and quality. They have a good return policy if the sizing isn't right. The backs have 4 rows of hooks to give you the perfect fit, and the straps are adjustable the entire way - not just part way.
