FAM- what's your record keeping sheet look like

I have a photocopied sheet that came with my BB thermometre. I'd post it if I had a scanner. Anyways, I don't like it. There's zero room for recording CM observations and that. And since it's all just loose papers it's a little less than inspiring.

I think if I had nicer sheets that are more user-friendly I'd temp and chart more frequently (it's kinda hit or miss whether I do or not).

I'm in Canada, so the thermometre I bought is all in celcius. My first impression from all the software is that it's all in Farenheight, which isn't pretty to convert.

I chart using the Ovusoft software: http://www.tcoyf.com/. It's soooooo easy. I love it! And, you can choose whether to use farenheight or celcius. I think it's a one time fee of $40.00. It's totally spoiled me. I can't imagine charting on paper now.

I love it!

I bought the book and took a look at the software, but I must have done that pre-ppaf, and found it useless at the time. I think I'll likely use that. And just keep a note pad by the bed to record initial temps.

I think I also have to get DH on board and get him to temp me when he gets up in the morning for consistency's sake. Then he will hopefully get a better sense of what's going on too- and feel a little more secure in DTD unprotected.

Still working out the kinks. Thanks!

Another vote for Ovusoft software!

You can't always just rely only on the software interpretation, you have to learn YOUR fertility signs, but as the software builds up a history of your cycles it becomes better at interpreting your charts.

I love being able to come and punch in my data on the computer, publish my charts to the website, and if I have a confusion ask the message board charters what they think.

For those who use a Mac there is an ovusoft based web-charting feature at ivillage fertility boards.

I made a chart for myself using MS excel

If you have access to the software you can make a chart that suits your needs - celsius, leaving enough room for the comments you want to add, etc. I used the charts in the back of TCOYF to model mine after, but removed or added lines as needed.

I have a blank one that I print every month, but I also track my info using FF

I have looked at the system on FF, but I do not like it as well as the Ovusoft program.

The charts are not as easy to read, and the FF interpretation is often even less reliable than the Ovusoft program chart interpretation.
