Sex after childbirth -- resources

Thread Starter
Hey --

I'm writing an article about sex after childbirth, specifically about how childbirth changes women's bodies positively and negatively, about pelvic floor rehab, and about how episiotomy affects women's experience of sex. I am looking for research resources, like books, websites, etc.

I know of a few, specifically Anne Frye's Healing Passages and Elizabeth Noble's postpartum exercise book. I guess I am looking more for resources that specifically talk about sex and no so much about musculature, for balance.

Any suggestions?

Sheila Kitzinger has a great book, "The Year After Childbirth," that has a section devoted to sex in the postpartum year -- thoughtful and awesome in my opinion. She also has a book which I have but haven't read yet, called "Woman's experience of sex." Knowing her, I can't imagine this wouldn't also have some good tips about post partum. Great topic, so important. Good luck with this.
