I have no idea where to put this, so I'll try here.
I'm TTC, and at about 11DPO. I'm also on progesterone due to a probable luteal phase defect. I've been pregnant twice before, with two miscarriages.
So, the weird thing this month, I suddenly ahve a sense of smell. Typically my sense of smell is horrible; I have to have DH smell milk for me to see if it's gone bad. The only time in my life that I've had a sense of smell was when I was pregnant last time. Oh, and right now. Dr. Google says that the pregnant woman's sense of smell is caused by rising estrogen. Now, if I were not pregnant, I should have rather low estrogen right now, as I'm about to get my period, right? Unless of course my body is overcompensating from having the progesterone supplementation, and is making extra estrogen. I odnt know much about hormones, so I'm not sure.
In short, is there any other reason why I'd suddenly be able to smell things that I couldn't before? Is there any other reason why I would have heightened estrogen at this point in my cycle.
Or am I knocked up?
