DH has agreed to have more (at least one) child!

And, he said, make sure it's a boy! When I asked why, thinking I'd get the typical, because I want a boy kind of response, he said because he understands them better.

I'm just so excited he's not saying no anymore!!! :

No, if only I felt like now was a good time. DS turned 2 in June and has a very sensitive system. He's sensitive or allergic to gluten (haven't had him tested, but I know what happens to him when I/he has it) and I'm worried about taking BM away from him. My milk dried up when I was about 2.5 months pregnant w/ him while nursing his older sister, who's fifth birthday was yesterday! She's so big!

Anyway, here's hoping he doesn't change his mind before I feel like it's a good time!

Congrats Mama! How exciting!

Yay! Tell him making sure it's a boy is on him, not on you! There is data that boys are more likely with intercourse very close to ovulation, so if you are charting your cycles and ttc, odds for a boy go up as it is likely you will be trying to get really perfect timing.

Good luck!

congratulations! maybe a little longer and it will seem like the right time. when ds was just 2, i was in no way ready, but just a few months more, and YES!

dh just came to both accept and really welcome the idea of another...we talked a lot about it a couple weekends ago. the morning sickness started the next am! lol...
guess our babe knew it was the right time, too!

Thanks for all the thoughts & ideas! And, dh is willing to talk to others, for the PP who mentioned that.

Now, just have to figure out where a 3rd child would sleep in our already crammed twin house and what we're going to get rid of (maybe the better way to put it is what we're not going to get rid of ) to make it all possible.

And, congrats to the newly pregnant PP!
