We are so delighted and happy to have our boy in our arms. We are all in shock that he's a he since I come from a family of girls. 
I started feeling contractions that felt a little stronger than braxton hicks on Friday morning at work, but stayed at work because the contractions were mild and not regular at all. And a week early.
Then at about 7:00 at night they started getting stronger and more regular. They were about 7-10 minutes apart aaaaalllll night long. In the morning at about 8:30 we called the midwife and said that we were pretty sure that this was it. I told her I'd call her when things got more serious. We called again at about 10:00 when things started really getting serious. She came at about 11:30 and by the time she got here, I was at 8cm. I was so afraid that she was going to say that I was only at 3 or something. We quickly filled up the pool.
I labored for another very intense 2 hours and pushed for about ten minutes. Our babe was born at 1:30pm. He's a whopping 8lbs 12 oz (unlike his big sis who was 5lbs 14oz) and 21.5 inches long. Anneke and all of us are madly in love And may I say SO SO happy not to be pregnant anymore!
