I saw this on another DDC
http://pregnancyandbaby.com/pregnanc...rience-736.htm

Anyhow I think it was wrong for me. It said my baby would have brown eyes and light brown hair. I predict blue and bald bald bald. My husband has blue eyes and I have green, and I didn't get hair until I was 2!

Also I hope the link works.

What she senses for you
The day you deliver, outside will be windy. Your baby will arrive in the early evening.

After a labor lasting approximately 6 hours, your child, a girl, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 6 pounds, 5 ounces, and will be 21-1/2 inches long. This child will have blue eyes and some very fine hair.

But there is more. I sense that there are some ideas and emotions you cannot quite put a finger on. I suggest you read through a few of these pregnancy diaries to see how other expectant mothers have felt at this special time.

we shall see...

This could be spot on, even though I did have to rummage around through some old files because I couldn't remember the donor's eye colour, but it turned out that he does have brown eyes so most likely bean does too.

My own prediction, however, is that it will be pouring down rain because it usually is in February, athough I would LOVE an early AM birth. I also think that littlest dd will be my biggest newborn and weigh about ten pounds even.

My other labours were 12 hours, 6 hours, and 10 hours and I liked the 10 hour one best, but UCs are sometimes MUCH faster than attended births and without all the interventions and poking and prodding and fidgety people distracting me, those two hours may not feel as rushed and frantic and hyper as my six hour labour did.

This is what she said for me:

What she senses for you
The day you deliver, outside will be slightly overcast. Your baby will arrive in the early evening.

After a labor lasting approximately 2 hours, your child, a boy, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 10 pounds, 6 ounces, and will be 19 inches long. This child will have blue eyes and be almost bald.

But there is more. I sense that there are some ideas and emotions you cannot quite put a finger on. I suggest you read through a few of these pregnancy diaries to see how other expectant mothers have felt at this special time.

I have been having distinct feelings of a girl, and a 2 hour labor would be totally out of the norm for me (both were almost 24 hours). So we shall see...

Here's what mine says (this is fun!):

The day you deliver, outside will be sunny. Your baby will arrive in wee hours of the morning. After a labor lasting approximately 2 hours, your child, a girl, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 7 pounds, 7 ounces, and will be 19 inches long. This child will have light brown eyes and dark hair. But there is more. I sense that you are feeling some stress. This is very normal. However, I would like to suggest that you try some of these methods to pamper yourself a bit.

OK, the stress thing is true. Sunny in February/March in Iowa... I guess it's possible, although it will be friggin' cold. However, a 2 hour labor?? I think not. I would be absolutely shocked if my labor was that short (this is my first kid -- I'd rather anticipate a marathon and be pleasantly surprised than hope for a quickie and be disappointed). I just don't see myself as a precipitous labor type gal.

I think it's a boy, and it's possible that the coloring is right but for some reason I expect my kid to look more like DH (blond/blue eyes) than me (dark hair/eyes). So it's possible but I'd be surprised. I certainly wouldn't mind a darker babe, or a girl .

she told me i was thinking about a water birth! I assumed that was what she told everyone, as a promotional thing, but, apparantly not. quite right! except she also said the baby would have brown eyes, but everyone in both our families has blue/green, so that would be unusual.

What she senses for you
The day you deliver, outside will be breezy. Your baby will arrive at night.

After a labor lasting approximately 11 hours, your child, a girl, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 7 pounds, 4 ounces, and will be 20-1/2 inches long. This child will have green eyes and a lot of hair.

But there is more. I sense that you feel somewhat alone. Have faith; you are not alone. Why don't you visit the message boards and talk to other expectant mothers? I'm sure you will find you have much in common.

Well I have green eyes and red hair, and I was born with a lot of hair. Hmm. I don't feel alone, so I don't know about that! LOL!!

sweet! all except the difficult birth, i'm actually overly-confident about that, if that's possible...

The day you deliver, outside will be rainy. Your baby will arrive in the morning.

After a labor lasting approximately 4 hours, your child, a boy, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 7 pounds, 12 ounces, and will be 19-1/2 inches long. This child will have hazel eyes and a little patch of brown hair.

But there is more. I sense that you wonder if you will have a difficult time during labor and birth. Why don't you go listen to an actual birth? It may give you some encouragement!

Her labor times seem very very short to me.. perhaps that is active labor? or pushing! ahahhahahahha!

What she senses for you
The day you deliver, outside will be cloudy. Your baby will arrive at night.

After a labor lasting approximately 7 hours, your child, a girl, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 6 pounds, 9 ounces, and will be 21-1/2 inches long. This child will have light brown eyes and be completely bald.

But there is more. I sense that you have thought about labor in the water. You ask yourself, "Why do women find it helpful?" I think you should look here to find out more.

How fun!

"The day you deliver, outside will be overcast. Your baby will arrive at night.

After a labor lasting approximately 8 hours, your child, a girl, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 7 pounds, 9 ounces, and will be 22 inches long. This child will have green eyes and some very fine hair."

Could be right on... I have hazel eyes and dh has blue/green. Brown is more likely since it's dominant on my side, but hey... And I was 21 inches, dh was 22 and we both have very fine hair.

It would be fun to see how far off these are come february!

But there is more. I get the impression that there is something in your life that is not yet settled. Something about... something about a name? Ah -- a baby name. Why don't you look here for help with finding the perfect name for your precious child.
I've never had that long of a labor. Ever! More like 3 hours. And dh and I are both blonde with blue eyes. All our girls are blond/light brown with blue eyes. My last baby was over 10 pounds, and all babies were at least 20 inches long.

I think the only accurate part is the name part!

I did it again for fun, but I said my favourite colour is green instead of pink, which is a toss up for me. But this time it said that my baby girl will have blue eyes and be bald, which is more likely for me.

What she senses for you
The day you deliver, outside will be cloudy. Your baby will arrive in the afternoon.

After a labor lasting approximately 16 hours, your child, a boy, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 6 pounds, 15 ounces, and will be 19-1/2 inches long. This child will have light blue eyes and some blond hair.

But there is more. I know you imagine your baby often. You wonder if your baby is safe and healthy. Why don't you go listen to a baby's heartbeat and think soothing thoughts about your own child.

HA ha ha! Sooo far off! I think she thinks only white-white couples have kids? Mr Toona is black, I'm white, and though I have blue eyes, this child will most likely have none of my coloring characteristics.

I do imagine the baby often, sure, but I'm not worried about its health, per se. 6lbs 15 oz seems small for my family and no one thinks I'm having aboy!

I bet you get totally different answers on different days!

Breezy in Feb in CT - most likely!
Wee hours in the morning - almost definitely (I always labor at night and have my babe in the am)
8 hours I can definitely see happening
A girl? I think it's a boy...
7lbs9oz would be small - my last was 10lbs14oz!
Light brown eyes and very fine hair are definitely possible.
Definitely having a waterbirh!

Overcast is a distinct possibility. Since I will probably have another C-section, the labor and water birth predictions are wrong. I have a feeling I'm having another boy but 9 lbs. 9 oz. would be almost 2 pounds bigger than my first so we shall see. Cole got my husband's blue eyes and since I have greenish blue eyes, another blue eyed baby is probably in the works but Cole was born with a thick head of hair, just like Mommy and Daddy.

Well, there is no way I'm going to labor 9 hours, due to my previous uterine scar they'd have me in surgery after 3 or 4 8lbs10oz would be great but I'm only going to 37 weeks or so, so I doubt it. 18 1/2 inches sounds good though! Green eyes are possible and so is the night thing. So we'll see

Mine could be right. Except all of my kids have been night time babies

Well I had a 23 active labour with e and he was 9 and a half lbs. So I see that part as wrong. Who doess't wonder about a difficult birth!?: E has brown eyes and brown hair soooo, I am hoping for green blue like me. I can see night being when it happens though. EVERYONE is thinking girl, I think boy again.

hmm....could be right, I'm feeling girl vibes and since I'm not gaining much weight she could easily be tiny. I sure do hope she's right about the 2 hour labor!!!

The day you deliver, outside will be warm. Your baby will arrive in the morning.

After a labor lasting approximately 6 hours, your child, a girl, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 6 pounds, 11 ounces, and will be 19-1/2 inches long. This child will have green eyes and dark hair.

Well, considering we usually have blizzards at the end of February... and my husband and I are both brown eyed, as are three of the four grandparents... and none of the babies in either family tend to be much smaller than eight pounds...

I think maybe no.

I did try it again with my OTHER favorite color, and the results were the same, with a light-brown-eyed girl instead of green.
