Big time hip pain

So I think that I had my first experience with uncomfortable Braxton Hicks contractions last night. I never timed anything but they were fairly regular 5-10 min apart. I felt them in my lower uterus and into my back. They started at about 7ish and didn't stop until sometime after I went to sleep (around 12:30).

Even when I wasn't having the bh, my hips were hurting so bad. Is that part of the bh or something else?

I've had BH since 26 weeks at least. I have just developed hip pain in the last few days. It seems to be from the baby moving down into the pelvis more. The only other thing I can think of is that he may be pressing on nerves now.

In the past getting to the point where it became really uncomfortable to walk meant I was going into labor soon, usually a few days later. Hope that is true this time.

i had lower belly and back (sacral joint) pain for a few days before starting labor. it was the baby moving down, the pelvis opening, and the back rebelling!! babe was posterior (but turned).

try having someone sqeeze your hips really hard (someone with good pecs ) or use a rolling pin on them
