When I think baby come: Sep 9 IT'S SEPTEMBER 17 AND I'M STILL PREGNANT...
How I think I will labor: I don't know how to count this. With DS I had contractions all day, but was admitted to hospital @ 8 p.m. at 0 cm dilated, and had DS @ 1:19 a.m., 5 hours later... I think this time I'll say 12 hours from first regular contractions to birth?
What I think baby will weigh: over 7 lbs, under 8
What I think Gender will be: NO CLUE!! DS says "sister"
What I think baby will look like: Like DH. DS is my "spitting image" aside from the penis . I'm having a hard time actually thinking this baby might look different, but I want to have DH feel the joy of seeing someone look so much like you.

I'm going to answer with what I HOPE for in terms of the date and labor, since my "predictions" tend to be worst case scenarios, and I don't want to write them down.

Actual Due Date: Sept. 18
When I think baby come: Sept. 5
How I think I will labor: 5 hours, and baby will just slide right out!
What I think baby will weigh: 7.5 lbs. (OBGYN is predicting a smaller baby than DS was, at 8 lbs. 4 oz., but I'm HUGE, so I can't really visualize a teeny thing...)
What I think Gender will be: U/S says girl
What I think baby will look like: Like DS, I really can't picture any other baby coming out of me!

EXACTLY like DH's mother. And bald as a cueball.

babe came sept 5, so a few days later than i thought.
it was a short labor, but i was too busy feeding and dressing children to know when exactly it started. i pushed for probably 15 minutes.
she weighed 7 lb 6 oz and was 20.5 inches.
she's a girl!
she's a blonde baldie. i think she resembles ds more than dd (although she may have dd's nose). i'm still kinda hoping her hair turns red, or at least strawberry blonde.

overall i did pretty well! if we decide to go for #4, i'm going to predict it will be painless

HA! She arrived on August 27

How I think I will labor: long prodormal, long labor..she's posterier and her sister didn't turn until too late, resulting in dystocia...so I am thinking she will be not so much in a hurry either...

HA! Labor went so fast she almost came in the car....Transition while going 75mph down the highway is NO fun...panted at the end when we pulled up bc I didn't want to have her in the car.....She was in a hurry....

What I think baby will weigh: 8 pounds 10 ounces (sis was 9)

She weighed in at 8 pounds 2 ounces but passed so much meconium in the first 6 hours that they adjusted it to 7 pounds 12 ounces....

What I think Gender will be: She's a girl!!!

What I think baby will look like: just like her big sister did but I hope she ends up with brown eyes like mine.....

She does look exactly like her big sister, just alot smaller! Her eyes are a pretty steel grey which I wouldn't mind staying but they will prolly be a greener hazel like daddy and sister bc the genes are on both sides....

He was born on October 6th.

Labor was about 4.5 hours.

He weighed 8#4oz.

He is a boy.

He looks a little like ds1 and a little like ds2, but mostly just like himself!

I didn't post a prediction before but here is what I thought would happen:

Actual Due Date: Sept 18

When I think baby will come: Sept 18

Baby came on Sept 19

How I think I will labor:

About 6 hours of easy labor, which will start around 8 or 9am. I will go about my day as if nothing was happening, laboring upright. Eventually I will go to my bed and baby will slide out, with dh and kids around me.

Labor started suddenly around 7:30am and lasted about 5 1/2 hours. It was hard and painful and loud, I definitely could not go about my day normally
Baby did not just slide out, I ended up pushing almost flat on my back with Dh holding me. Ds1 saw the birth, dd hid under a blanket on the floor and ds2 ran out of the room with his fingers in his ears. Oh well.

What I think baby will weigh:
9 1/2 lbs
He weighed 9 1/2 lbs


What I think Gender will be:

Girl
