Ok, so I desperately want to be part of this swap and know I have to have my 150 posts in 2 days!!! ARG~

So here goes, I'm making up some questions to answer myself. I was thinking of posting one letter on each page!! hahaha Just kidding~

1.) How did you find out you were pregnant?

3.) What's the best part of pregnancy that you are looking forward, besides getting out of the 1st trimester!!! Gosh is it over yet???

1.) How did you find out you were pregnant?

My sister gave me some tests that had expired from her clinic (she's a midwife). I went home and was going to wait a few days as i still had a few days before my missed AF, but couldn't wait!!! I knew I was PREGGO, so had to take the test to confirm. Sure enough......a tiny, tiny, faint line showed up, but I didn't tell DH. Acutally a week later, when we took a test together, I pretended not to know!!! I'm bad I know!!

2.) When did you first have that feeling?

We conceived on a Sunday night and I flew to Idaho with my mom on Monday. Almost instantly I knew! Weird I know, but I was super tired, my throat started to itch (always a sign for me), and one day I brushed my boob against something and was like OUCH! I knew right away. It was funny too, cause my mom made her incredible margaritas one night and I knew I probably shouldn't have any.......But how could I turn them down without her suspecting?? So, I sipped on one all night long~ It was torture, cause I LOVE margaritas!!!

3.) What's the best part of pregnancy that you are looking forward, besides getting out of the 1st trimester!!! Gosh is it over yet???


The part where I start to look incredible and feel incredible!!! I loved the way I looked when I was about 26 weeks pregnant, I had such a cute belly all in front. From behind you would never know I was pregnant! But then, watch out!!! 55 lbs gained, towards the end, I felt and looked like a blimp.....my face was soooo fat!! YUCK~

4.) Have you done a swap before?

No never, but it sounds soooo fun~ I love doing secret santa, and secret friend's type things, so I'm super excited! Hating this dumb 150 rule though!!!

Margaritas!!! Oh, and I've been seeing this new commercial for a beer called Miller CHILL, it looks soo good~ What's funny is I'm not really a drinker, but now that I can't have it, that's all I want!!!

6. What is something you NEED to do, but don't feel up for it?

Buy new tires for my SUV. My husband has been hounding me, but the thought of having to wait in that lobby until they are done makes me ill~ Not to mention, I HATE spending money on things like that~ Even if they are needed~ I know silly~

7. Midwife or OB?

Midwife!! I'm so blessed that my sister is an incredible midwife and lives right down the road from me!!! Yeah for sisters and midwifes~

8. Hospital, Homebirth, or Birthcenter?

We are planning a homebirth. We had DS in a birthcenter about an hour away......we barely made it, so my last midwife suggested I find a closer place to birth. Thankfully, husband is on board now, well sort of~

4 hours of labor, 40 mins of pushing~ If they really get faster, I'm a little nervous~

10. What do you hope is different with this labor?

I'm hoping for a calmer labor. With the last one, I spent most of my time driving from one house to another and dealing with that dreaded car ride. I'm so happy to be at home this time and not have to deal with that. Also, I really want a waterbirth. We had hope for one with my DS, but it was too fast and I ended up pushing in the car. No time to fill the tub when I got there~

12. How do you pamper yourself?

I'm not sure.......although lately I find pleasure in the littlest things like taking a hot shower!! Weird I know, but with a 2 year old, there's not much time for pampering.

Well, I'm not nearly as close as you are but I'm trying to get there over the next few weeks. Hope you don't mind me joining in your question-answering fun!

1.) How did you find out you were pregnant?
I decided to take a test at 13dpo just out of habit/for the ritual because I thought I was pregnant the two months prior - but didn't have the sense I was that month. I told my Dh it would add a little thrill to our Saturday morning - and MAN did it!

2.) When did you first have that feeling?
Never suspected anything honestly! My homebirth midwife tells me in her experience it's not at all uncommon to conceive psychologically a month or two before physically conceiving. We were not trying to conceive.
