Heard the heartbeat for the first time!

It makes it so much more real to me in some way. It was 170 so just another thing to confirm my girl vibe suspicions! Ds's heartbeat was always around 100-110. I was having a hard time bonding with this pregnancy but it does help to hear the hb, and I'll have my one and only ultrasound next month and actually be able to see her!

Congrats Jen! Yay! It's such an amazing feeling!

We just heard our little one's heartbeat for the first time last Wednesday, and what an incredible experience. (Ours was fast, too!) We took a little video - we've told some of our long-distance friends & family we're expecting by sending that to them! (Plus - I'll admit I've watched it probably at least 30 times since then! )

We heard our baby on Saturday! It was magical. I just loved it. Our little guy was right in the 150s. I'm getting boy vibes but it could go either way (and that's fine with me!).

Heard ours yesterday! 155ish .. boy? girl? I'm getting boy vibes but that's a little high right? Then again, my dr. said that it's an old wive's tale... hmph.

hmm...I've always heard that if its really low (like 100-130) that's a sign its a boy. If its high (like 160-180) its a girl. I think 150 could go either way! I would love to know how accurate it is...anyone have a baby that defied the heart rate theory?

Hi! I am due Feb 22... and I have a little 13 and a half month old daughter, Tillie, she is awesome. Want a lot of kids... this one's heartbeat was 150. Tillie's was 160. I don't know what to expect this time but I am secretly hoping for another girl. I have all my girl names picked out...

we just heard our little one's heartbeat for the first time yesterday!! i am so glad dh recorded it! we have been listening to it over and over and over and over. and when we're not listening, one of us is walking around saying, "wooshwooshwooshwooshwooshwooshwoosh..."

i've always had girl vibes and seeing as the heartrate was at 160, maybe i'm right! dh keeps demanding a recount as he's sure it's a boy. either way, we are both simply thrilled that there's a baby in there!!
