ok so we have always been "EC Diaperers" or Lazy ECrs. Our kids are almost always in diapers, but they use the potty successfully several times a day, sometimes all day they are dry, sometimes not.
Anyway we EC for the kids comfort primarily and DD from day 1 would poo in the sink or potty and maybe 1 poopy diaper per month for the first 8 months... from about 8 months on she would use the potty a max of once per day (early in the morning she would not go back to sleep till I took her to pee). She would get very upset if we tried to potty her. We pretty much gave up on EC for her because this is about her comfort, so if she was upset about EC we just gave it a break.
Well she is turning 1 this week and all the sudden she has renewed interest in the potty and was even dry most of the day and did her poo in the toilet yesterday. Huh!?! so you are telling me the last 1/3 of your life was a potty strike/pause? silly girl. Anyway she seems to want back on the EC train, I guess I am more suprised than anything.
