I have posted this in another section, but wanted more advise, suggestions, info.
Because of our first born having a heart defect, (and passing 2 days later), we now, with each pregnancy are considered high risk and must see a heart doctor.
DD #1 was tested in utero and discovered through a test that she had downs, we all decided to do further testing and for me to get an aminino.
Doctors said she was fine, even heart doctors came in and said that the test was a false positive.
Anyways, so with this ultrasound today, he measures that my due date is 3 weeks later and that she has a 2 vessel cord instead of a 3 vessel cord.
He said the heart looked okay but wanted to look at it again in 3 weeks.
My other doctor says that 20% of 2 vessel cord babies are said to have downs or a heart defect.
So, I'm extremely worried!
Having one child with a heart defect and dying, I'm fearful of the same happening.
Have any of you experienced this 2 vessel cord or know of anyone.....what was your experience?
I would appreciate any knowledge on this subject!
Thanks mamas!
