Virgos

All right ladies. Those of us who are still awaiting our babies' arrivals are all having virgos. I don't go much for astrology, but was a teensy bit nervous about a leo baby.

Are we officially out of Leo for this year? I'm glad too! (Both my sisters are Leos and it's already too hard to get a word in edgewise!) But I love them.

Sneaking in from another ddc...why nervous about a leo baby? Just curious (I've got one )

Am I in the minority that I WANTED a Leo babe? I am actually a Virgo myself and and I not sure this house can handle TWO Virgos. A Leo seemed like a nice balance to my Virgo and DHs Aquarius. Ah well, what can you do. My new (more realistic) hope is that the babe will arrive on or before Sept. 1 (which is the cut off date for school here in Atlanta). DH and I are NOT looking forward to paying for an extra year of daycare.

BTW, I think we technically still have today (and maybe tomorrow) to get a few more Leos out there. As I recall, the cusp is Aug 23.

Yup, I was off by a few days. I'm a libra and there are some sources that end it anytime between the 21 or 23, so my mind automatically went to 21 for the change. So you still have a chance. Do you think your little one is gonna make it in time to be a leo?

Just based on those leos that I've known and the general description, they would seem to be a little more difficult to raise, extremely stubborn (but that stubbornness can be an asset for achieving their goals).

Yeah, that seems to be true so far! But so much personality! My next babe will be a libra, which should balance her out (I hope).

I'm a Leo and I think Leos are great! (Not that I'm biased or anything!) So I was hoping for a Leo daughter too ... but I will still love her even if she is a Virgo ...

Another Leo here, and my babe was born Aug 6th, so that's two Leos in our house. My other DD is a Saggitarius, so three very energetic (and stubborn) fire signs. Dh is a Cancer, boy is he outnumbered!

Although I was nervous about having two Leos in the house (DH is Leo), at this point I'd rather have two Leos and just get this baby born! But a Virgo would be nice too, kind of a bridge between my Leo DH and my Libra self (and DD the Gemini).

Nope. I think I'm getting a Virgo But who knows. I have been having contractions for almost two weeks now (nothing regular and nothing that increases in intensity) so my new fear is that I am going to go into labor but completely ignore it until I am pretty much on the floor in agony (mind you the hospital is an hour away). That particular senario is not sitting well with my freakish need to control and plan Virgoness

Hey Emily, I just remembered that when ttc, we were on the same schedule. So, it'll be interesting to see whose baby comes first. I keep telling mine to come early next week, but it seems that this baby wants to be a stubborn Leo disguised as a Virgo! Maybe boom, all of the sudden my body will get going, but it does not seem likely right now.

I don't find Leos to be that stubborn personally, (Two sisters and my coworker - all Leos) but I'm a Capricorn and we take stubborness to a whole new level, so that may have something to do with it!

I'd really like a Virgo baby, just because it would be nice to have ONE Earth sign in my whole family of Air and Fire signs. *sigh* On the other hand, I'd also just take having a baby and not scratching myself silly at 6am anymore. So really, I'll take what I can get!

We have 3 Leos in the house already, so maybe that's good.

my sister and I are leos and very determined but no where near as stubborn as my mom and neice who are capricorns.

Taurus is my absolute favorite. I have 3 very close friends, all Taurus and the first man I ever fell in love with was also a Taurus. They can be stubborn, but they are also so loyal, extremely dependable, and have very tender hearts. LOVE THEM!

I'm a Leo and if this baby is a boy, he can come before the 23rd. I'll be really nervous if it's a girl. Two women Leos in the same house may be too much.

my dd is a leo and drives me :
BUT one of my best friends is a Leo, my fantastic boss is a leo... I really admire them. It's just kinda hard to RAISE them.

I think this babe is going to stay put until he's born a virgo. Although I had contractions all night!

I'm a Leo and so are my DS and my new DD : . Though DS was a very high-needs baby, he is pretty laid back as a toddler. His sister is so far an extremely laid back baby compared to him, so I'm pretty sure there can be big variations within sun signs.

I soooo wanted a Leo (and got one!) because I've always been surrounded by them: my dad, my first 3 boyfriends, several close friends. I've always got on well with them (I'm Pisces). I think I'm glad it's a Leo boy, not a Leo girl, though. Also, after we picked it, we found out his name, Ariel, means Lion of God, so it seemed it was meant to work that way.
