the good and the bad..

Well, I finally met someone in my area who left their baby intact. Yay! however, He questioned why I don't retract my boys to clean them. I know his son is younger than both of mine but I guess he could be retracting already. I didn't get the chance to ask him more questions because we were at the hospital doing a tour for school. I saw a circ room today Anyway just babbling. Oh, and I brought up circ with my BIL (baby boy due in Oct) he said they were probably going to do it. I gave all the info and I could tell he wasn't feelin me so I said fine, forget what I just said for a minute. instead of me telling you all the reasons why you should not circ you give me one reason why you should. He couldn't! My DH said they talked about it more after I left. Please keep your fingers crossed for my nephew to be. this is going to be a hard one to win. Mom does everything her parents tell her and I KNOW they aren't going to support leaving him intact.

I love that! Good luck with this one. These ppl are so engrained by our culture that they're blind to the truth. I find that feeding this information to them a little at a time breaks down what they've been conditioned to about circumcision. You can do it! Please keep us posted. I'm a junkie when it comes to missions! Good for you for saying something to your BIL!
