Definately buy food first! That's the most important. Although can you possible stretch the $50? Skimp on the organics and buy tons of grains from the bulk bins?

I see one of your DC's is on the feingold program though - so i'm sure that ups your food budget.

Anyway, maybe you can call the bank and explain to them your situation...if you've been there for a while i'm sure they'll understand. Good luck mama!

Can you call the bank and let them know you can't pay now but plan to soon? I've had problems with the bank and I was able to have some charges dropped from what I owed. It was for NSF and it wasn't really my fault. I'd jus forgotten b/c I was stressed. Maybe if you talk to someone at customer service they can help you. Call the number on the back of your ATM card and see what you can do. That's what I did. No one at the bank would do anything,but the guy who I talked to did
