i'm fully expecting the same reaction, which is why i won't be telling anyone for awhile. plus, i'm over 40 *gasp*

Well, if I get to join you guys...you won't be the only over 40 one here ....I'm enjoying my last two weeks of my 30's right now.

Congrats and welcome athansor & catballou24! Hope I didn't miss saying HI to anyone else! Glad to see your here with us!

So who have you guys told so far?
My sils, my 3 closest friends, my cousin...that's it so far. Haven't told the boys yet, they can't keep a secret! My parents are coming in town next weekend, so we will tell them then. My mom is going to have a heartattack..

I go to a MOMs group on wednesday, but I think I will wait a week or so more to tell them...maybe...I"m bad about tell way early

I haven't told anyone yet. We will probably wait a long time until we share the news (until I'm obviously showing maybe?), I tend to keep my pregnancies a secret. I just got "weird" like that from being a former teen mom and the sooner I told people the sooner I got negative comments and stress.

Welcome to everyone whose new!!!

We've told my parents, my aunt, two of my husband's cousins who are also newly pregnant (one is due like a week before me), my best friend, and that's it.

I've told everybody. I am going to have such a phone bill this month. I told my in-laws, my parents, my sisters, all of my aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents. As well as many friends and coworkers. I get so excited that everything just burst out of me.

Oh that is too cute! When I get pg, I will do a slide show or maybe an e annoucement...something a little different!! Even for dh

however....Alexis grew her wings on May 11 (06) so I'm not sure if I want to be pg this month...I'm in the tww, now..

Hello, I POAS yesterday and got a positive result, although I'd had some suspicions since I got a nasty bunch of plugged ducts the day I ovulated. I think my edd is something like May 6. I guess I must be pretty cheap, I bought the store brand pregnancy test, and was quite happy to only test once. I'm very relieved to be pregnant, the 2ww's were really doing my head in.

Lurking here with high hopes for a BFP. Due date would be May 10th. I have become (not so) secretly addicted to POAS and tested negative again today at 10dpo. AF is due on Thursday or Friday. Fingers crossed my very sensitive boobs are nothing to do with PMS!

I think I am due sometime May.... LMP was July 19, but I am SURE I was not pregnant 2 weeks after... I am pretty sure I conceived August 15. I have gotten only the very faint line so far, and only today...

Hi! I am joining in here for the first time (well, apparently I had an account so I think I have posted before...maybe in infant sleep forum or something?). Anyway, I got my first BFP (very faint) on Aug 25 at 11 dpo and a darker one the following day. I still have one test that I am saving to take in another few days to see if it's darker again! My due date is around May 8ish (varies depending on whether you calculate from LMP date or ovulation date...I tend to prefer the later date, couple more days of breathing room before they start talking induction).

This will be my second. My first was born in 2005, a boy :-) DH and I planned to keep it a secret except for my best friend, but I kinda blabbed to my parents today so we will probably tell his parents very soon as well.

Cat - Yay, a due date buddy! And a 2WW buddy I totally don't feel pregnant at 4 days post-ovulation. But I guess I wouldn't, because the hormones don't start pumping until the wee babe implants in the uterus, right? I think implantation usually occurs 5-8 days after ovulation, or something like that. How are you feeling??

MamaVolpe - I am totally excited for you!! I loved your first post Hooray for mamahood!!!

bluepetals - what month was your '05 boy born? I have a December '05 boy
