What books on attachement parenting would you reccomend?

My friend's pregnant, and, altough she doesn't know much about it, is into attachement parenting. Her partner is more of a redneck who wants to do conventional parenting (baby in crib, combined booby and formula, etc).
I was thinking about getting them (him) one of the Dr. Sears book, because i think it looks more mainstream with the author being an MD and all that. Are there any other books you'd reccomend? Thanks

The Continuum Concept is my absolute favorite, but it may be too much for someone who is mainstream in their beliefs. Or it may be the thing that turns him around?

I've lent her my copy of it. I think it might be too much for him, but she'll get it, I'm sure.

what about katie allison granju's book, which i think is simply called "attachment parenting"? i read it when preggo and thought it gave a good overview.

i also like "the natural child" by jan hunt but would say it's not so great as a baby book but for a toddler, perhaps. i read it right after dd was born and didn't get as much out of it then.

I would go with the Sears book. I think Continuum Concept is pretty radical and would turn off someone who was mainstream.
