Start from scratch or buy out?

I'm considering buying a WAHM business (blessubaby), and wondering what you more experiences WAHMs think.

I was going to start from scratch, and then I saw this site for sale, and I've contacted the owner and am really thinking that althought initial cost may be more, it could save me a lot of time and headache. Plus, my DH could cut down his hours sooner to and be here more. (right now he's working "part time" 60 hours a week just to make enough to live on) That is the whole idea behind me having my own business-that my kids don't forget who their dad is

Should I invest more up front and buy her business or just start from scratch... Any input?

Did she give you her sales figures and traffic information for the web site? That would be the first step. Also, how much is she charging respective to the income the business generates? one years' worth of sales? Two? Etc?
