It feels like this baby is trying to exit my belly button

Anyone else go through this. My stomach feels so tight I looked in the mirror really expecting it to be bruised. It feels like the baby is trying to push it's way through it's own new exit.

I've tried telling it that the exit is in the other direction. But it doesn't seem to be listening.

Agreed! I'm so done with this thing. I keep doing visulizations and stuff, but.... come on baby!

Well, I was having all kinds of sharp feelings in my cervix and above my pubic bone yesterday--youch!!!! It's probably some pubic symphysis happening, but it felt like the baby was doing something very strange..... Isn't all this so FUN!!!??? :

no sharp stretching pain at the belly button or above though? That's really where it feels like this babe is trying to push through. I don't mind if he or she wants to stay a few more days but when they decide to make their appearance we are going to have a little discussion about sense of direction.

I've been getting that more today. I think it's toes, so maybe your baby (and mine!) are trying to swim down?

I had that the weekbefore birth...I really thought he was trying to get out thru my navel!

A whole week huh?

It really hurts! DP said it looks like that's where the baby is trying to exit too, since my belly button has now popped and is stretching even more. Ouch!

Mine only finished popping last week. I'm hoping that means that "I'm done" .
