CD moms are you shopping for fluff yet? - Page 3

I've finally worked up the courage to take a look at the diaper making sticky and I'm convinced that's what I'm doing this time!!! I can't believe how easy it seems (

I. Have. No. Clue.

I know I want to CD, but it's just too overwhelming. All the links and reviews and such and such... TOO MUCH INFORMATION FOR MY BRAIN TO PROCESS!

I have two friends who CD; maybe I'll just ask them what they used and follow suit.

I went to the local cloth diaper store today (had some store credit from a resale) and got another Thirsties cover for dd and a few fleece liners to try. It was REALLY hard to resist the newborn fluff, but at least I got to pet it!

I'm am hopefully going to make a bigger effort at diaper sewing this time. Maybe I will try to make dd a few pocket diapers. I wonder if Joann's still carries suedecloth.....

yay! lets all post pics of our stashes when we get them. il get a pic of the dipes and covers i have so far soon.

I kept a lot of DD's diapers, but we didn't start CDing her until she was 7 months. However, I've been collecting newborn/small diapers since before we started TTC, and it took a year and a half to conceive, so.......I have quite a bit.

My fitteds are primarily First Class Baby, Little Fishy/Clothmopolitan, and Girl Woman Goddess, and I have a pretty varied assortment of wool. I also like AIO's in all three brands for under trimmer clothing, and we primarily use Fuzzi Bunz for outings and nighttime.

Good, then I won't be the only one with stash pics. I usually take a picure of everything right as it comes out of the mail.

eta. that pic won't be up there long to prevent anyone from stealing it and using to for sick purposes :

Oh, yes. We found out not even a week ago, and I've already made a soaker and a pair of shorties. We cd'd Anna, but just used prefolds and covers until she was about a year old. Then I found wool and never looked back.

But since we didn't start with wool until she was a year old, we don't have any newborn stuff. It is so much fun making such teeny tiny little covers.

Good idea, since the word "diaper" is in the title :-/. Best bet is to not name the picture file anything with "diaper", "baby", "kid", "boy", "girl", "naked", etc. It's hard to find your fetish if it's named DSC12309.jpg. ;-)

I just found out I was pregnant on Wed. and the first thing I thought was YAY DIAPERS!!! I'm not sure what I'm going with, probably fitteds and wool with a few pockets for outings. And some preemie prefolds. I'm going to wait until we find out the sex of the baby though. I have a son now, and while there are some cute boy diapers, I'm soooo wanting to buy pink if we're having a girl!

Here's most of what I've got:

Newborn (About 2 days worth. I'd like to get it up to 3 days so I'm not rushing to do laundry.)
Small/Size 1
Medium/Size 2
Medium-long/Large (Wool still worn over Size 2 diapers.) (Doesn't include about a dozen large Fuzzi Bunz--I still need to get a picture of those.)

Some of the notes are outdated, but I haven't really done much with the pictures since DD daytime potty-trained.

Where did you get the Fuzzi Bunz embroidered? I have a couple that are embroidered, but I don't think the WAHM's that embroidered them are open for business any more.

Wow Jennisee!!!!!!!

I enjoyed looking at all of those pictures. My favorites were in the newborn section - the tye die set and all of the pea stuff!!! Did you know that Gymboree has newborn/infant pea stuff right now? :

Good thing I'm 70 miles from the closest Gymboree!
