The one thing I hate about ddcs

Is being at the end of the month!!!!! I always get sooooo annoyed when you mamas due on the first start going into labor early. I remember some of my prevous mamas being due the first and going two weeks early. I still had six weeks to go!!!! :

And I feel so behind throughout the pregnancy. Everything's already happening to everyone else. Maybe I should just move to May then I can be the trail blazer!!! : :

Oh, Lori, I know what you mean! My DD was born August 31st. I went through an entire month watching babies being born and sitting pregnant and miserable (and in late August I *was* pretty miserable).

I did a secret happy dance when I realized this babe was an early April. Since I go about 2 weeks post-dates usually he/she will probably be a mid April babe.

I was due October 23rd but joined the November ddc anyway... good thing because ds wasn't born till NOVEMBER 15th!!!! So I was technically due before anyone else, endured 3 weeks of prodromal labor, watched mamas go before me and still ended up in the middle of the month!!!:

I totally remember feeling that way the last time. At least here you dont get as many early inductions just because like you do on alot of "mainstream" boards...

my dd was a month early, and the last ddc's i was in was based on trimester and not month, and it was kind of nice because I had friends on both sides of my date throughout my pg and after the baby was born. I think I am just one of those women who is meant to carry 8 months instead of 9 LOL. So I have thought about going to the March group as I am sure my baby will probably be a Pisces, but have decided to stay put

Stay!! There are several of us due at the end of the month. And I usually go late so this one could very well be born in May. We need company here. Besides, there might even be more joining us at the end of the month that haven't realized they should be here yet!

Very good point, that's is what happened last time, I was on an AOL board. I hadn't found MDC until the very end.

I'm glad I'm not alone in feeling this way.

I thought of another thing annoying too, once most of the mamas have their baby things slow down sooooo much on the board. I think us end of the month mamas should make a promise to keep talking no matter how grumpy we are.

My husband, his brother and his brother's son are all born on the fourth of different months. So there's NO pressure there!!!! : :

I hear ya (due April 22nd)! Reading about mamas who are already almost 8 weeks along, and me at my barely 5 weeks along makes me irrationally grumpy.

I know how you feel. DD was due 6/28 and was born 7/01. So I am expecting something similar with this one, too. My birthday is 9/1 so I like the idea that my babies will be born on the first, which is my only consolation in going past my due date. Ha!

I will be on here PLENTY in the last days so if we are all going over together, we will have company.

Yep yep... my son was due on June 30th, so I totally hear that. ;-) When I realized that I'm in the first half of the month here, that made me really happy! (DS wasn't born until the 4th of the following month... and, I think if it had been left entirely up to him, would have been born around the 8th or so.)

Join me in the May DDC, so far I think I am the only one. My DD is May 1st so I have been banging arround here until a May DDC gets started. I would love some company. By the way when do they start up the new DDCs? Do I need to notify some one that May is ready?

Yup, I hear ya. I am an end of the monther from March! I have been lurking around here more than the March board since I don't feel as "far along" as some of the March mamas.
Besides, I had a premonition that my baby would come on April 2nd!
I don't think there is anything wrong with hanging out in 2 ddc's!!
