So DD wanted a haircut and we were looking up hairstyles yesterday. I think I clicked something I shouldn't have because the computer started acting really strange. Well, today when I got home (we leave the computer on all the time) there was a website up in Explorer (we don't even use IE!!) that was.. um... rather racy to say the least.
I ran virus scan and it's only coming up with 1 progfam that is a potential threat and it won't delete it. But I keep getting these (fake?) pop-ups from IE that say I'm infected with worms and trojan horses. The computer is freaking out. I'm getting all kinds of pop ups and security warnings.
I didnt know what to do, so I deleted all the cookies, files, history, etc from IE and from Firefox (what we normally use) and browsed around to see what I could do.... well, for some reason our firewall was turned OFF! (Probably DH downloading something for a game and forgot to turn it back on! UGH!!!!)
I turned it on, but I'm at a loss.
