Ladies...I'm obsessed...

I spend way too much time on the internet looking at cloth diapers! Really.

Today I spent a good part of my morning trying to win a few auctions on ebay and then the link for FBs that was posted here. And last night I was online looking at different options.

I know that I like FBs so what I currently own includes 6 med FBs (for DD) and I just ordered her 2 med FBs. I have 4 small FBs on their way for the next LO.

I'm considering 3-dozen prefolds with covers for the newborn stage (I believe have little babies, DD was under 6 lbs at full term).

Right now I'm thankful that I still have all my friend's diapers to supplement the 6 med FBs that I have for DD. But I'm hoping to build up what I have so that I can return them to her. She won't need them for 6+ months or so, but still. I'm glad she introduced me to CDing...but now I can't stop!

Oh, I was the same way! Still am if I'm not careful, but I've got enough diapers for DD and the girls, so I try really hard to be good.

It's a fun addiction! Beware, if you know how to sew, making them is an even worse addiction! That's how my (now) very large fabric stash started, little over 4 years ago. Since then, the sewing addiction has grown to include many other things, but originally, I barely knew how to sew and started with diapers. Oh the memories! I've also spent who knows how many hours looking at diapers online, ebay, here, diaperswappers.com, hyena cart, etc, and that doesn't include all the "research" I've done to learn how to make new and improved diapers. It's an awful addiction! You've been warned!!!

I am obsessed too. I am ashamed to admit, even to you ladies here, how much time I have spent looking for diapers in the last 2 weeks! I think I have finally envisioned the perfect NB/S stash, now the challenge is to find everything in good condition and at good prices. So I tell myself that I've got to check the computer pretty often... you never know when the perfect item might get listed...

IME, once I find everything I want for a certain size, I'm "cured" until it's time to buy for the next size. Then it starts all over again. It is a hard obsession to break!

Ummm... just a note: it is a GOOD hobby. Please see the ginarae diaper stash thread for more info... if anyone's DP complains or they feel guilty, keep in mind there are worse things we could be doing!

ETA: I am obsessed with the consignment shop! The closest one to our house sells diaper covers! Do you think I am not there at least once a week, checking things out??? Most of them are brand new... and soooo cheap. I just got 3 Nikky wraps for $3.99! New condition!
